Diana Shipping locks charter deals for bulkers with MOL and Bunge

Greece-based and New York-listed Diana Shipping, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a time charter contract with MOL Ocean Bulk Pte. Ltd., Singapore, for one of its newcastlemax dry bulk vessels, the Los Angeles.

MOL Ocean Bulk Pte. Ltd. hired the 206,104 dwt newcastlemax bulk vessel built in 2012.

The vessel is chartered for a gross charter rate of $24,000, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum September 10, 2026 up to maximum November 1, 2026.

The charter commenced on November 1, 2025.

The company also announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has extended the time charter contract with Bunge SA, Geneva, for one of its ultramax dry bulk vessels,
