Precious Shipping disposes 2010-built supramax bulker for $9.5m

Thailand’s Precious Shipping Public Company Limited has announced the disposal of the supramax bulk carrier Warisa Naree for $9.5m by Precious Ponds Limited, a wholly-owned Thai subsidiary of the company.

The Warisa Naree is a 53,839-dwt bulk carrier built in India in 2010. The company didn’t disclose the name of the buyer, but it said that the delivery of the ship to its new “overseas” owner is scheduled between November 25 and December 20, 2025.

The company said the transaction is part of its strategy to rejuvenate its fleet by selling its older vessels and acquiring younger and bigger vessels.
