Shell linked to term charters of Chinese-built Celsius tankers amid Trump tariffs ‘idiocy’

Uncertainty over trade wars has killed the crude tanker period charter market, but brokers are reporting movement for MR product carriers.

Danish owner Celsius Shipping has been linked to three-year deals with oil major Shell for the Chinese-built 50,000-dwt Celsius Portsmouth and Celsius Philadelphia (both built 2021).
