New Australian Facility Launches Innovative Turnout Solutions

in a significant move for the rail industry, Vossloh has launched a new manufacturing facility in Bendigo, Victoria. This plant is set to produce switches and components tailored for various projects across southern and eastern Australia.

The state-of-the-art facility boasts an impressive output capacity of up to 200 turnouts annually. It also incorporates cutting-edge energy-efficient technologies, including a solar power system with a capacity of 228 kW.

“This new plant establishes a global standard in precision, automation, and eco-friendliness for switch manufacturing,” remarked Jan Furnivall, COO of Vossloh. The official inauguration took place on April 4th with Victoria’s Premier Jacinta allan in attendance.
