According to a recent publication by the International Union of Railways, there’s an exciting chance for those in the transport sector: free cybersecurity training courses are available until the end of October.

The CYRUS initiative, crafted by cybersecurity experts alongside industry professionals, aims to enhance cyber awareness and resilience. this is particularly crucial for non-technical roles like management,HR,finance, and also engineers and operators who may not have a tech background.

“Cybersecurity has evolved beyond being just a technical concern; it’s now essential for every level within an association,” shared Alessia Golfetti from Deep Blue. “We want to ensure that practical training is accessible to everyone involved in transport and manufacturing—from those on the ground to executives.”

The courses are designed with versatility in mind and are offered online in English, Polish, and Italian. they cater to various skill levels—beginner through expert—and each course can be completed in about four hours. Participants receive a Certificate of Completion upon finishing their course, with top performers earning a Certificate of Excellence.

Beyond self-paced learning modules, CYRUS also features live webinars led by instructors. These sessions provide participants with the chance to engage directly with cybersecurity professionals and ask questions in real-time.
