AIR ONE Unveils Exceptional Capacity for Oversized Cargo Transport

AIR ONE has showcased its extraordinary capabilities in cargo transport by successfully delivering 12-meter furnace coil boxes from Liège too Abu Dhabi.

This operation, executed for deugro abu Dhabi, involved loading eight oversized boxes through the nose door of a Boeing 747-400 freighter operated by AIR ONE’s partner airline, One Air. The total weight of this substantial shipment reached 57 tonnes.

AIR ONE manages a diverse network of cargo airlines and aviation services, boasting a fleet that includes 11 Boeing 747-400Fs across three airline partners. Notably, two of these aircraft are designed for nose-loading operations. Over the past five years, AIR ONE has facilitated more than 3,750 full charters and transported upwards of 345,000 tonnes to over 100 global destinations.

“With the addition of another nose-loading 747-400 to our managed fleet by late 2024,we’re enhancing our capacity to handle out-of-gauge shipments like those for Deugro,” explained Saeed Ghodrat,senior Charter Manager at AIR ONE.“Our deep understanding of the cargo capabilities of the 747-400 allows us to efficiently manage loading and unloading processes at both departure and arrival points. This positions us well for rapid charter services tailored for oversized shipments and also mixed freight projects.”
