Cargoland Soars: A New Era Unveiled at Air Cargo Europe
According to a recent report from Air Cargo Europe, LGG made waves last month in Munich by unveiling its enterprising rebranding as CargoLand. Their largest booth ever drew significant attention, leading to over 100 meetings with airlines, freight forwarders, GSAs, and shippers throughout the four-day event—yielding extraordinary outcomes.
While LGG is familiar with trade shows, their participation at Air Cargo Europe marked a pivotal moment in the airport’s journey. During a special reception led by CEO Laurent Jossart and Vice President of Sales & Marketing Torsten Wefers, they introduced the Cargoland vision to an excited audience while guests enjoyed exclusive Cargoland beer.
“This was our first time investing in such an expansive stand because we had major news to share,” noted Frederic Brun, Head of Commercial Cargo & Logistics at LGG. “The investment truly paid off! We ARE Cargoland! The positive feedback and interest from visitors confirmed that we are more than just a regional airport; our service quality is attracting customers naturally. This was my biggest takeaway from the event—our goal of becoming one of Europe’s top three cargo airports is closer than we thought!”
“Air Cargo Europe surpassed our expectations for business engagement,” added Wefers. “Not only did we reconnect with many loyal partners face-to-face, but it also opened doors for new commercial prospects that we’re excited to explore. I believe we set a record with over 100 meetings in just four days—our team was busy discussing everything from capacities and rates to developments at our airport and what Cargoland has on offer.”
The striking white booth featured the bold new Cargoland logo alongside a refreshment area adorned with greenery. They also incorporated social obligation into their presence by hosting a fundraising photo opportunity; for every picture taken at their booth,€10 was donated to SRPA (Société Royale Protectrice des Animaux),raising €2,500 for animal protection efforts during the event.
