DNV grants AiP to Jiangnan Shipyard for JNIS (DATA) platform

DNV has granted Jiangnan Shipyard in China an approval in principle (AiP) for its Jiangnan Intelligent System JNIS (DATA) platform, which qualifies under the D-INF(S) class notation.

With the AiP, DNV has confirmed that Jiangnan Shipyard’s standardised onboard data platform is aligned with ISO 19847 and ISO 19848 standards.
