With a ₹3,500 Crore E-Methanol Project, Kandla Port is set to become a bunkering hub
The Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) in Kandla, Gujarat, has given the green signal to a ₹3,500 crore project to create e-methanol, a synthetic fuel. This step is taken to make Kandla a key bunkering hub for ships traveling between the Port of Rotterdam and Singapore in mind.
According to DPA Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh, the port intends to supply e-methanol as bunker fuel
