Greek companies presented their investment opportunities in the maritime reconstruction project of Ukraine during the Ukrainian-Greek business forum.
The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine has called on Greek companies to join the projects, as the maritime infrastructure is critical to Ukraine’s economy.
This was discussed during the forum held with the participation of representatives of 10 leading Greek companies, the Ministry of Development reports.
The purpose of the forum was to discuss the involvement of Greek business in the reconstruction processes of Ukraine.
In particular, the Ministry considers Greece as a strategic partner in the restoration and development of the maritime industry.
Deputy Minister Maryna Denysiuk thanked Athens for its practical assistance, including the use of the ports of Thessaloniki and Alexandroupolis as additional destinations for the export of Ukrainian grain, which was a response to the Black Sea blockade.
