Greek exports to the United Kingdom saw a significant decline in both value and volume during the first four months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, contributing to an overall drop in bilateral trade volume from €1030.61 billion to €916.01 billion.

Imports from Greece

According to an analysis of UK-Greece trade data from the British Revenue and Customs Agency (HMRC), as reported in a briefing by the Greek Embassy in London, UK imports from Greece between January and April 2025 totaled €544.74 billion, down from €715.54 billion in the same period of the previous year. This represents a sharp decrease of 23.9% in value.

The volume of Greek imports to the UK also fell substantially, dropping by 22.76% year-on-year. In contrast, UK exports to Greece increased by 17.96% in value, although they declined by 9.61% in volume, slightly improving the traditionally deficit-ridden bilateral trade balance.

Main Exported Products

The leading categories of Greek exports to the UK, ranked by value, included, among other items, dairy products (notably feta cheese and yogurt), eggs and honey, pharmaceuticals, electrical machinery and equipment (especially electric conductors, wires, and cables), etc.
