Alter Ego Media Group announces the appointment of Rosie Allimonos as Media Technology Advisor. Rosie Allimonos brings over 20 years of international experience in leadership roles across Media, Technology, and Innovation companies. She has held executive positions at leading global organizations, including Google, the BBC, and META, playing a pivotal role in the development and launch of innovative products and services such as YouTube Originals, Instagram Reels, Facebook Watch, and BBC iPlayer.
Rosie Allimonos began her career in Broadcasting in London in 2005, leading digital transformation initiatives across multiple BBC departments, including Drama, News, Entertainment, and Children’s programming.
She later joined Google to build YouTube Originals from the ground up, leading large, multi-layered teams in the launch of Google’s new media products and services.
Throughout her career, she has been a key member of teams behind some of the world’s most beloved technology products. She has built teams and led strategic partnerships for successful launches including BBC iPlayer in the UK, YouTube Originals SVOD Service, YouTube Premium, YouTube 360, YouTube Live, Google VR, Facebook Watch, and Instagram Video Reels and Stories across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
