Lalemant Group and Hellenic Ports have inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to create a new logistics corridor between UK, North-West and South Europe.
The primary objective of the partnership is to attract new cargo volumes to the Port of Thessaloniki and to the Flemish ports, while creating new flows destined for both Parties’ hinterlands.
The collaboration will focus on key commodities, including, but not limited to: steel/metal products, cars and parts, fertilizers, renewable energy equipment, recycled materials, building materials, wood products, grain/cereals, and minerals.
This alliance unites two geographically and operationally complementary industry companies, the Hellenic Ports and the Lalemant Group.
“Our geographical complementarity and shared commitment to good faith cooperation will unlock substantial operational synergies,” said Arthur W Seynaeve, chief executive officer of
