Authorities launched an investigation after the body of a 70-year-old Greek national was found in Greece’s port of Piraeus. The cause of the death will be determined following an autopsy at the Forensic Medical Service of Piraeus.
Greek authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered on Wednesday, November 12, in the sea area of gate E1 within the central port of Piraeus.
In the early hours of Nov. 12, officers of the Tzelepi Port Authority located a private vehicle parked unlocked in the area of gate E1 of the port of Piraeus. Following an investigation, it was determined that the vehicle belongs to a 70-year-old Greek national, who had been reported missing by his relatives in the evening hours of Nov. 11.
