US-based Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Meyer & Rees, which trades as Bierschwale-Rees Insurance.
The acquired company is an independent insurance agency headquartered in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Neither party has released the financial terms of the transaction.
Bierschwale-Rees Insurance was founded in 1903 and is regarded as one of the longest-running insurance agencies still operating in Fredericksburg and nearby communities.
The firm is known for its work across personal and commercial insurance, including specialist experience supporting the area’s active tourism economy.
Its commercial portfolio includes cover for restaurants, wineries, art galleries, bed-and-breakfasts and other related businesses, alongside a broad range of personal insurance options for local residents.

Bierschwale-Rees Insurance president and owner Todd Willingham said: “With so much changing in the industry it became clear that the right move for my clients and my community was to partner with someone who could bring additional tools and stability into the future.

The deal extends Inszone’s reach in Texas.
The Bierschwale-Rees Insurance team will remain based in Fredericksburg, continuing to serve clients locally while benefiting from Inszone’s wider market access, technology and operational support.
