Ningbo reaches record-breaking LNG bunkering volume
Ningbo-Zhoushan Port has reached a significant milestone in its green shipping transition, with its annual liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering volume surpassing 100,000 cubic meters for the first time.
By the end of May, the port delivered 106,000 cubic meters of LNG marine fuel, exceeding its total annual volume for previous years. A recent highlight of these efforts was the bonded LNG bunkering operation by the Haiyang Shiyou 302 vessel for Pacific International Lines’ dual-fuel container ship Cuicheng, conducted at the Chuanshan Port Area under the oversight of Ningbo Border Inspection officers.
