Greek owner Minerva buys seventh boxship for over US$30 million

Greek shipping company Minerva has acquired the three-year-old, 1,781 TEU container ship Mindoro from German vessel owner Briese Schiffahrt for US$31.5 million.
The transaction represents a solid return for Briese Schiffahrt, which originally ordered the vessel in 2021 for US$26 million, according to Alphaliner data.
Renamed Little Symphony, the vessel remains on charter to the German ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd until the final quarter of 2025.
With this acquisition, Minerva’s container ship fleet now totals seven vessels — all built in 2022 or later.
