CULines launches JCT Service

CULines has introduced its latest service offering -JCT (Japan–China–Thailand)- aimed at boosting regional connectivity across East and Southeast Asia. The new direct service officially commences with the call of the vessel Matoya Bay at Tokyo on July 8, 2025.
The JCT service will provide direct links between major ports in Japan (Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe), South China (Shekou, Hong Kong, Nansha), and Thailand (Laem Chabang), enhancing shipping efficiency and transit times across key trading hubs in the region.
Transit times are competitive, with cargo moving from Tokyo to Shekou in 9 days and to Laem Chabang in 15 days. The full round voyage returns to Tokyo in 28 days.
In addition to direct intra-Asia connectivity, the service offers transshipment options for Japanese exports. Shipments can be routed via Nansha to reach the Red Sea and East Mediterranean, or via Shekou for destinations in the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.
With three weekly sailings covering its CST, SCT2, and now JCT services, CULines continues to strengthen its footprint across the Asia trade lanes, catering to evolving customer needs and regional supply chain demands.
