“K” Line opens new office in Doha

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) has opened a new representative office in Doha, Qatar. The office officially launched on June 15, 2025, and will begin business operations on August 3.

The move marks a strategic expansion in the Middle East. Qatar is one of the world’s top producers and exporters of natural gas and LNG. Its energy output is expected to grow in the coming years. The country is also pushing ahead in low-carbon and clean fuel initiatives, areas closely aligned with “K” LINE’s long-term goals.

The new Doha branch will complement the company’s existing office in Dubai. Together, they will strengthen regional ties and open new opportunities, especially in the energy transportation sector.

“K” LINE says the Doha office will help boost marketing and sales efforts through direct engagement with customers in Qatar and the wider Middle East. The goal is to better understand local needs, deepen partnerships, and drive sustainable growth.

The new branch, officially named Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (QFC Branch), will be led by Goichi Tsuruta.
