Maersk to end participation in New Brazex service

Maersk has announced it will terminate its participation in the New Brazex service as part of its ongoing efforts to optimize network reliability and coverage.

The final southbound sailing will be on CMA BERLIOZ 540S (or substitute), departing Veracruz on October 2, 2025. The final northbound sailing will be CMA BERLIOZ 544N (or substitute), departing Paranagua on November 1, 2025.

Following this transition:

  • Cargo to/from Salvador will be handled via Suape (imports) and UCLA through cabotage (exports).

  • All other shipments previously on New Brazex will be reallocated to Maersk’s UCLA and/or GULFEX services.
