CMA CGM revises inland emergency surcharge for Mali cargo via Abidjan

CMA CGM has announced a revision of its Inland Emergency Surcharge (IES) for shipments bound for Mali through the port of Abidjan, following improvements in operational constraints and congestion.

Effective October 1, 2025 (loading date) and until further notice, the surcharge will be adjusted to EUR 250 per container, down from the previous level of EUR 1,650 per container.

The surcharge applies to all cargo bound for Mali via Abidjan when the intermodal segment is performed by the carrier and follows the same payment terms as the truck move.
