CMA CGM upgrades REX2 service

CMA CGM has announced an upgrade to its REX2 service, further strengthening direct connections between Asia and the Red Sea region. The enhanced service aims to provide improved network coverage, faster transit times, and greater reliability for customers trading between China and key Red Sea ports.

Effective October 2025, beginning with the m/v CMA CGM TOSCA (voy. 0RDMEW1MA), the upgraded REX2 service will introduce:

• A new direct call at Qingdao, China

• A new direct call at Aqaba, Jordan

• Double calls at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, ensuring improved schedule frequency and flexibility

Updated REX2 Rotation:
Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Nansha – Singapore – Djibouti – Jeddah – Sokhna – Aqaba – Jeddah – Qingdao

The service enhancement reflects CMA CGM’s continued investment in optimizing its global network and supporting trade growth between East Asia and the Red Sea corridor.
