GXO streamlines leadership to accelerate growth

GXO Logistics announced major organizational changes to accelerate growth, simplify its structure, and sharpen execution.

CEO Patrick Kelleher said his first 60 days showed strong foundations and major opportunities ahead. “These changes sharpen our focus and strengthen execution across the company,” he said.

New Americas & Asia Pacific Leader

GXO appointed Michael Jacobs as President, Americas & Asia Pacific, effective November 3.
Jacobs joins from Ferguson Enterprises, where he modernized supply chain operations using automation and AI. He also held senior roles at Keurig and Toys “R” Us.

Kelleher said the region presents significant growth potential. “Now is the right time to reenergize our approach. Michael brings proven operational and automation excellence,” he added.

Jacobs will be based in Dallas. He succeeds Jorge Guanter, who positioned the region for its next growth phase.

Simplified Structure

GXO simplified reporting lines to speed decision-making.
UK & Ireland leader Gavin Williams and Continental Europe leader Paul Mohan now report directly to the CEO.

Richard Cawston, President of Europe and Chief Revenue Officer, will leave the company once a new Chief Commercial Officer is appointed. He will stay to support a smooth transition.

Kelleher thanked Cawston for his contributions and noted the strength of the leadership teams in Europe and the UK & Ireland.

New COO Role

GXO is creating a Chief Operating Officer role reporting to the CEO.
The COO will drive global operational excellence and ensure consistent execution across the business.
