SAAM reports strong Q3 2025 results

SAAM reported solid financial results for the first nine months of 2025, posting a net income of US$64 million, up 48% from the same period last year. EBITDA reached US$158 million (+15%), while revenue totaled US$463 million (+8%).

The company delivered a particularly strong third quarter, achieving record earnings of US$24 million (+97%), revenue of US$161 million (+12%), and EBITDA of US$58 million (+23%) compared to Q3 2024.

“We had record earnings this quarter, thanks to increased activity, a better mix of services, and greater operational efficiencies across our two core business areas: towage and air logistics,” said Macario Valdés, CEO of SAAM. “We continue to strengthen our operational capabilities while maintaining high service quality, environmental responsibility, and safety standards.”

SAAM Towage’s maneuvers and services, along with Aerosan’s cargo volumes, remained stable despite ongoing global trade volatility.

Key milestones during the period included signing a binding agreement to acquire the remaining 30% stake in Intertug, giving SAAM full ownership of the company operating in Colombia and Mexico. The company also launched Latin America’s first electric tug in Puerto Chacabuco and added two new tugboats to its fleets in Chile and Peru. In August, SAAM Towage achieved a monthly record of over 13,500 harbor maneuvers.

The Board of Directors approved the distribution of an interim dividend of US$20 million, charged to 2025 earnings. Payment will begin on December 4, 2025, for shareholders registered as of November 28, 2025. The dividend will amount to US$0.00205415954704982 per share, payable in Chilean pesos at the exchange rate effective on November 28, 2025.

SAAM’s strong third-quarter performance underscores its focus on efficiency, innovation, and sustainability as it continues to expand its operations across the Americas.
