ZIM returns to Ukraine
ZIM has officially resumed operations in Ukraine through a renewed LBX service, restoring a direct and exclusive connection between Ukraine and Israel while providing fast access to ZIM’s global network. The first call will be made by ZIM Australia (AU6) 221 at Pivdennyi on 2 December 2025.
The service is fully operated by ZIM and runs through the strategically located DP World TIS Pivdennyi Terminal, situated near major highways and equipped with modern port facilities, unstuffing areas and extensive storage capacity.
Additionally, the terminal supports a variety of cargo types, including refrigerated products, oils, wood, grains, foodstuffs, used cars and additional containerized commodities.
Moreover, ZIM highlights that the renewed LBX is the only direct Ukraine–Israel service currently available, offering a short six-day transit time from Haifa to Ukraine. From Haifa and Piraeus, cargo enjoys fast and seamless connections across ZIM’s global network:
• Far East import/export via Haifa on the ZMP service
• Atlantic and Americas imports via Haifa on the ZCA service
• Atlantic and Americas exports via Piraeus on the ZCA service
With the LBX back in service, ZIM strengthens its presence in the region and offers Ukrainian shippers reliable access to major global trade lanes.
