Ex-Evergreen chief engineer gets jail for hitting deputy
A Taiwanese court today sentenced a former chief engineer of Evergreen Marine Corporation to three months jail for assaulting the second engineer while working in the ship Ever Beamy in March 2024.
The Taiwanese chief engineer, surnamed Chen, thought the victim had a bad attitude and punched the latter, causing a concussion.
