Jambojet joins Freightos WebCargo, expanding digital cargo access
Freightos announced that Jambojet Cargo has joined WebCargo by Freightos, giving freight forwarders instant digital access to the Kenyan carrier’s regional cargo network.
Jambojet Cargo now offers real-time rates and instant booking for nine key routes across Kenya and Tanzania. Operating from its Nairobi hub, the airline serves Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Malindi, Diani, Lamu, and Zanzibar. It transports fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce shipments, and other goods essential to regional trade.
With Jambojet live on WebCargo, forwarders can compare rates, book shipments, and manage cargo digitally. This reduces manual coordination, improves visibility, and speeds up service. Freightos currently processes an annualized run rate of more than 1.6 million transactions on its platform.
“Partnering with Jambojet expands WebCargo’s reach across one of Africa’s fastest-growing logistics markets,” said Zvi Schreiber, CEO of Freightos. “We aim to make global trade smoother and more efficient.”
“Digitalization is transforming air cargo in Africa,” said Karanja Ndegwa, MD & CEO of Jambojet. “Joining WebCargo gives forwarders faster and more reliable access to our network. We look forward to enabling interline bookings on the platform and strengthening regional and global connectivity.”
