CLdN launches new Rotterdam–Porto container service

CLdN will launch a new weekly LoLo container service between Rotterdam Distriport and Leixões (Porto). The service responds to rising customer demand on this route.

The new offering will complement CLdN’s two weekly return RoRo sailings between Rotterdam/Zeebrugge and Leixões. Together, the services increase capacity and flexibility for customers.

CLdN will deploy container vessels alongside RoRo vessels on this longer-distance route. This approach supports the company’s strategic plan announced in 2024.

The combined LoLo and RoRo model improves sailing frequency. It also reduces CO₂ emissions per unit.

The new LoLo service will start on Sunday, 25 January. CLdN will share weekly schedules and terminal details with customers in the coming days.
