AD Ports Group partners with BigBear.ai on AI-driven trade

AD Ports Group has partnered with BigBear.ai to develop next-generation AI solutions for trade, customs, and logistics. The deal was signed between Maqta Technologies, AD Ports Group’s digital arm, and BigBear.ai’s UAE office.

The partnership was announced at the World Customs Organization Technology Conference in Abu Dhabi. Together, the companies will design, test, and deploy digital platforms for customs management and border operations. They will also pursue opportunities with governments, port operators, and global trade stakeholders worldwide.

Maqta Technologies contributes its expertise in port community systems, digital customs clearance, and trade facilitation tools. BigBear.ai brings AI-driven solutions, including automated inspections, risk management platforms, and multi-modal border management.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, AD Ports Group CEO, said the collaboration will improve efficiency, transparency, and risk management across global trade networks. Kevin McAleenan, BigBear.ai CEO, added that the partnership will enhance security and speed up trade flows.

The collaboration aims to make trade smarter, faster, and more secure while supporting global digital transformation in logistics.
