ZIM revises Levant Black Sea Express service rotation
ZIM has announced a significant restructuring of its Levant Black Sea Express (LBX) service. Based on reports from Alphaliner, the carrier is adjusting both the frequency and the port rotation of this regional route to better align with current market demands.
The service frequency will now be reduced to a fortnightly schedule. As part of this overhaul, ZIM has removed the port of Piraeus from the rotation. In its place, the service will now call at the port of Varna.
The updated LBX service will be operated by a single vessel with a nominal capacity of 1,100 TEU. The new rotation for the service is as follows:
-
Ashdod, Israel
-
Haifa, Israel
-
Constanta, Romania
-
Varna, Bulgaria
-
Ashdod, Israel
