Marsa Ocean Shipping has introduced two new services connecting India and the Red Sea region, according to Alphaliner.
The first service, named India–Red Sea (IFR), will operate on a fortnightly basis using two vessels of approximately 1,200 TEU capacity. The rotation will include Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Fujairah, Djibouti and Aden, before returning to Mundra.
In addition, the company has launched the Red Sea Express (RSX), which will operate on a 21-day rotation, also deploying two 1,200 TEU vessels. The service will call at Jeddah, Aden, Djibouti and Hodeida, before returning to Jeddah.
The new services are aimed at strengthening regional connectivity and providing additional capacity between India and key Red Sea ports amid evolving trade dynamics.
