Circle and Setramar launch digital logistics project in Ravenna
Circle Group and Setramar Group have launched a joint project to digitalize terminal and logistics operations at the Port of Ravenna.
Focus on digital processes
The project will upgrade operational systems and improve document management. It will analyze terminal (TOS) and logistics (TMS) systems to boost efficiency, security, and data flow.
A key focus is the digitalization of transport documents, including e-CMR and e-DDT, in line with European regulations.
Enhancing efficiency and integration
Circle Group will act as a technology and consulting partner. It will support process reengineering and deploy digital tools to streamline operations.
Carlo Merli said the initiative will simplify workflows, improve safety, and strengthen terminal efficiency.
Luca Abatello highlighted the role of digitalization in improving supply chain integration and competitiveness.
Supporting a key logistics hub
