Kaleris launches AI Gate automation for faster yard operations

Kaleris has introduced an AI-powered gate automation solution for its Yard Management System (YMS), unveiled at MODEX 2026.

The new AI gate vision capability uses advanced computer vision to automate gate operations, reducing manual processes and improving speed, accuracy, and flexibility at logistics and manufacturing facilities.

Faster and more efficient gate operations

Traditional gate processes often take 3 to 7 minutes per truck due to manual checks and paperwork. Kaleris’ new solution cuts processing time to under 60 seconds, improving efficiency by up to 85%.

The system automates truck, container, and license plate identification. It also records asset condition at entry and exit, improving accuracy and reducing disputes.

Early results show:
