TAS Offshore Berhad (TAS) has in a Malaysia Stock Exchange notice announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary has secured shipbuilding contracts for six tugboat units with a value of approximately RM38 million (about USD 8.9 million).
TAS informs that the contracts were signed with two new customers from Indonesia, and that these six tugboats are expected to be delivered during the financial year 2026.
The revenue generated from the contracts is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of TAS Group for the financial year ending 31 May 2026, as the company states.
