Feidakis-led Globus seals sale deal for supramax for $8.55m

Feidakis-led dry bulker shipowner Globus Maritime Limited has sealed through a wholly owned subsidiary an agreement to sell its supramax vessel.

The Nasdaq-listed company sells the River Globe, a supramax vessel of approximately 53,627-dwt 2007-built, for a gross price of $8.55m. The price is before commissions and expenses.

The company didn’t disclose the name of the buyer but revealed that it is an “unaffiliated third party.”

The vessel is expected to be delivered to its new owner between March 1 and April 15.
