SPM plots expansion after selling anchor-handlers and tanker to Japanese lessors
Dubai’s SPM Shipping is raising funds for expansion through a series of sale and leaseback deals for its offshore and tanker fleet.
The company has confirmed broker reports of four disposals this year, following a series of transactions in 2024.
SPM, formed by vessel recycling cash buyer Best Oasis in 2022, has sold a trio of large anchor-handling tug supply units and an MR tanker so far this year.
