Failed fixtures hit product tanker rates as tonnage list grows

Product tanker rates have been falling this week as cancellations take their toll.

Clarksons Securities assessed eco LR2 earnings down 3% in seven days at $28,800 per day, while at the smaller LR1 size, levels eroded to $23,400 per day, off 8.1%.
