Iran-US nuclear deal impasse presents best-case scenario for tanker markets

The stringent sanctions put in place during President Donald Trump’s two terms in office could be tightened as talks on a nuclear deal with Iran appear to have reached an impasse over uranium enrichment.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said he does not expect the talks to “reach a conclusion”, according to media reports.
