Hunter Group loses $8,350 per day on VLCC charter bet
Norway’s Hunter Group has suffered more losses from its VLCC charters, but rates have seen a significant upturn in the second quarter.
The Oslo-listed investor pays a fixed rate of $51,750 per day to charter in two VLCCs.
It fixed the tankers out at an average index-linked rate of $43,400 per day in the first quarter, losing $8,350 per day.
