Sentinel Marine orders new support vessel from Chinese builder

The first vessel in this new class is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2027. It will be a DP2 vessel with a deadweight of 1,600, 375 square metres of clear deck space, and substantial under-deck capacity for fuel oil, potable water, recovered oil, and mono ethylene glycol.

Designed as a Group B (A option) UK emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV), the vessel will feature a fast rescue craft and a hybrid daughtercraft.
