Torghatten Nord's newest electric ferry sails on delivery voyage to Norway
A new battery-powered Ro-Pax ferry ordered by Norwegian operator Torghatten Nord has completed undergoing construction and has departed on its delivery voyage to its new owner in Norway.
Hinnøy was designed the The Norwegian Ship Design Company in compliance with DNV class rules and built in Turkey. The double-ended ferry has a length of 117.1 metres, a moulded beam of 18.8 metres, a draught of five metres, and space for 399 passengers and up to 120 vehicles.
