A recent declaration from Maverick Transportation on June 2 revealed a pay hike for drivers in their glass over-the-road division.

This adjustment means that drivers will enjoy an increase of between 2 to 7 cents per mile based on their experience and time with the company.For new student glass drivers, starting pay has now reached an extraordinary rate of 62 cents per mile. In fact, first-year earnings for new hires are projected to fall between $70,000 and $85,000. This change took effect on June 1.

“Our drivers play a crucial role not just in our operations but also in supporting the economy at large,” stated Brad Vaughn, the vice president of recruiting. “We’re thrilled to enhance their compensation as a token of recognition for their hard work and commitment on the road. Their dedication is invaluable to us.”

Maverick emphasized its commitment to investing in its workforce through this announcement. The comprehensive pay package includes performance bonuses tied directly to driver achievements, paid evaluations before employment starts, flexible home time arrangements, and extensive benefits.
