GEODIS Recognized with GEEIS-SDG Trophy for Advancing Gender Equality Initiatives

This award was presented during a special event marking Arborus’s 30th anniversary,which is the institution responsible for the GEEIS (Gender Equality & Diversity European and International Standard) label. The GEEIS-SDG trophies honour organizations that actively support gender equality and diversity initiatives aligned with Lasting Growth Goals (SDGs). This recognition showcases GEODIS’s commitment to making inclusion a key strategy on a global scale.
In connection with the GEEIS-SDG awards, GEODIS introduced an innovative project spearheaded by its Women’s Network that focuses on enhancing financial literacy among women. this initiative highlights the necessity of creating environments conducive to women’s professional growth. Led by Mélanie fantin from Australia, this award-winning program launched an international campaign aimed at raising financial awareness specifically tailored for women.
The inaugural topic of this program in 2025 centers around salary negotiation strategies. Conducted either online or in-person by volunteer staff members, these interactive workshops empower women to navigate biases effectively while honing their negotiation skills.
The objective is to equip over 300 members of the GEODIS Women’s Network with essential training before the close of 2025.
