Sightseeing vessel loses steering control, strikes quay in central Stockholm

The Swedish Coast Guard, the Swedish Transport Authority, and local police have begun an investigation into the mishap, which is also the second quay strike by a passenger vessel to occur in Stockholm's waters in less than a week.

On Wednesday, July 9, a boat carrying 150 people accidentally rammed a quay in Nacka. Five people who were on board suffered minor injuries and were later brought to hospital.
