Port Fourchon expands site for Argent LNG export project

The Argent LNG project is engineered to deliver up to 25 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of what it describes as "lower-carbon LNG", using a modular execution model. Development will continue with permitting and engineering work ahead of a formal project launch in Milan, GLPC said.

Jonathan Bass, CEO of Argent LNG, stated that Port Fourchon offers deepwater access and that the additional acreage allows the company to fully realise its vision for the facility.
