

A Merchant Navy Officer from India, aged 21 died in suspicious conditions on a ship close to the coast of the United Kingdom.
Per authorities, the young officer died by suicide while he was training on the crude oil tanker Jill Glory, registered under the Marshall Islands.
His family has not accepted the suicide claim and is suggesting foul play.
He left home on December 7 and stepped foot on the vessel, three days later on December 10.
He was to join from Singapore and was to work for Fluid Management Limited.
The family got a call from the employer on March 16, 2025, informing them that their son was missing.
Upon hearing this, his father booked a flight to London immediately and when he reached the ship, he was informed of his only son’s tragic death by suicide.
However, his father has pointed fingers towards the ship’s officers, emphasising his son could not take his own life, stating that he was killed.
