Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited (AKPL) has announced that it handled 5.74 million metric tonnes (MMT) of dry cargo in May 2025, setting a new national record. According to the company, this is the highest-ever monthly dry cargo volume managed by any port across India.

The company also shared that last month, the port achieved its highest-ever single-day road dispatch, successfully moving 55,958 metric tonnes by road in just one day. This achievement highlights AKPL’s strong logistics capabilities and the efficiency of its cargo evacuation system.

Port officials said this achievement was made possible by its robust infrastructure and efficient operations that keep cargo moving smoothly. They credited the success to the leadership’s guidance and the hard work of the entire team and supporting departments.
