India’s first fully electric tug to launch under green tug transition programme
India is set to deploy its first fully electric tug, marking a major step in the decarbonization of port operations under the Government of India’s Green Tug Transition Programme (GTTP).
The 60-ton bollard pull tug will be stationed at Deendayal Port Authority in Kandla, Gujarat. The project is led by a consortium of Netincon Marketing Pvt Ltd and Ripley Shipping Pvt Ltd
