Skipton Business Finance appoints Ben Pittam as ABL Regional Sales Director

Skipton Business Finance (SBF) has announced the appointment of Ben Pittam as Regional Sales Director for Asset Based Lending, with responsibility for driving growth across the Midlands and the South.
Ben brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accountancy, with a proven track record in originating and structuring receivables and asset-based finance solutions for mid-market SMEs.

He joins SBF from Cynergy Business Finance Limited, where he served as Corporate Sales Director, sourcing new client opportunities through a well-established network of introducers including accountants, corporate finance boutiques, investors, and brokers.
Prior to this, Ben spent more than a decade at ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance N.V., progressing from Business Analyst to Regional Sales Director. In these roles he was responsible for both auditing existing asset-based facilities and winning new clients across a broad spectrum of industries. Earlier in his career, Ben worked at Price Pearson in Dudley as an Audit and Accounts Senior, assessing risk management and control frameworks for clients across finance, compliance, HR and legal.
