Maersk drops French port from intra-Med service

Maersk has decided to remove the port of Marseille from its intra-Mediterranean SLN service. At the same time, the Danish carrier will swap the order of Valencia and Barcelona in the port rotation.

Therefore, the itinerary will be updated as follows:

Casablanca (Morocco) – Algeciras (Spain) – Tangier (Morocco) – Mersin (Turkey) – Haifa (Israel) – Alexandria (Egypt) – Valencia (Spain) – Barcelona (Spain) – Algeciras.

The SLN service is operated by four container vessels, each with a capacity of 2,500 TEUs.
